Before we look into different types of entertainment, first let us define what entertainment is. Reggae/Dancehall is any type of activity that provides entertainment for people in a passive way, other entertaining activities that involve engaging are considered hobbies or diversion.

There are various kinds of entertainment for specific tastes, such as we have cinema, theatre, sports, games, social dance, concert, comedy shows, cartoons, impressionists, clowns and the list continues on and on.

All these kind of entertainment can than be divided into classes based on the age and attention of the people being entertained. For example we have kid, adult, live actions, public and corporate entertainment. In this article we will give a brief explanation for some of those forms.

Child Entertainment

Kids need to get entertained and some occasions the entertainer or the amusement agency should discover a balance between mental and physical pursuits. Clowns, puppets, pantomimes and animations have a tendency to appeal to children, though mature may find it enjoyable too.

Adult Entertainment

Adult Entertainment many occasions is linked to the sex business, but this form of entertainment can't be related only with the sex industry and its branches. Adult Entertainment entails things such as music festivals, live sports, opera and a hand full of different activities that children might not find so attractive.

Live Entertainment

This kind of amusement is broadened to all ages since there are a variety of actions that can labelled as live entertainment. For example music concerts, live TV shows, live sports, theaters and any other action you could think of that is aimed to entertain people.

Public Entertainment

Nowadays probably one of those kinds of entertainment that have grown the most, as a result of the financial recession. When you walk across any major city around Europe you will notice a wide selection of people entertainers working for any amount of money the people decides to provide them. There are people entertainers of a variety of mimes to Peruvian Flute bands all working with the doubt of how much money they will make, that is why they have a tendency to be more common in major cities in which there are more tourists.
